It's pretty good...

But you could make it more dynamic. By which I mean, make him so that he's actually doing something heroic, instead of just standing in front of a weird background.

It also really bugs me that Mario has the Superman logo on his hat.
Which is he?
Mario who's really buff? Or Superman wearing a Mario costume?

Yes, thinking about doing something more elaborate once I've got my scanner up and running.

And I'd say it's more of a fusion. Originally I was going to put an 'M' in the shield but I had already started inking by the time I remembered... <.<. Ho hum, next time I'll get it right. :)
